What about all the other animals they’re just going to get arrested and Betty , but go Betty go for tackling the lady !
I think out of everything Eric could have said he said the worst thing like who would eat an identity card .
Why didn’t they just jump on the train and made the police chase them that would have been fun .

They just had to get caught but I think they brushed aside the fact that Gertrude knocked someone out a bit quickly.
Poor Betty if only Sid gave her a chance .
I’m not quite sure animals can eat cake or biscuits but oh well .
I feel they should dress Gertrude up as a widow in stead because she would still have a veil but I think it would make more sense .

I like how David Williams kinda interacts with the reader .
Eric choosing to save Gertrude over Sid first is funny but it seemed like Gertrude had it sorted using her fangs .
It cute how Gertrude squeezed Eric’s hand was she was scared but still help Sid down the tree .
I’ll be a bit worried if no one does notice that there is a gorilla walking the streets of London .

Is it just a thing now to go in penguin pools because that has happened a lot .
At least they shook them off and Gertrude is lokey a person at this point she just sat in the middle of them normally in the car .
What a coincidence that they got stuck in the middle of a bombing raid .
And Eric chose to help his friend but now he might be in deep deep trouble.

I think Eric thought he could fly for a second there .
Surly one person in the whole of London would have looked up and saw them , it’s not exactly the most normal thing to see .
What happens next because they’ve nearly saved Gertrude but there still a lot of the book to go .
It time for a human chain .

I thought the plan where they dress up as doctors was a pretty good plan .
Like they dont need to worry about having an ambulance just take Gertrude down the street .
Maybe they should have thought twice before opening that gas cause the book could have ended right then.
Sid is casually threading little kids and now he’s left Eric down on the ground as he lifts off into the sky .

I wish I had that many animals but I’m sure they keep Sid very busy .
I find it funny how Eric basically just suggested kicking Sid out his own house though .
I cannot remember what there plan is so I’m excited to find out .

Awww Sid got fired all the animals are not going to be properly treated anymore .
I think Eric got a bit harassed there for a boy that just lost his grandma .
It’s weird to think the if he was there he would be gone too .
Sid is there for Eric so much that he opened his door for him and they had a little hug .
This book is very cutsie .

How is Gertrude actually okay after eating all that stuff .
Surly if she is now back in her cage they have no reason to put Gertrude down because she is where she normally is right…..right?
How did they reach the top of her cage to sort off fix it like it’s probably a big cage and they are both small people .

Erics grandma because she must be so panicked when she finds Eric isn’t in his bed .
I sure hope cages are more secure today cause Gertrude sure broke it open easily .
Tut tut I remember batter they were doing so well with Gertrude then he showed up

Wiat did his grandma actually put that guy in elephant poo or is it a saying or something.
I can only imagine how lonely it must be for Eric and I get why he wants to be with Gertrude.
I can’t remember what they do to uncle did but I hope it’s nothing too bad .

Gertrude can do more tricks than me !
I know His grandma is just trying to protect him but I think that his time with Gertrude is the thing that makes him the happiest .
I do feel like if there was a bombing not many people would then go to the zoo the day after but who knows .

I’ve read this book a couple times but I’ve never actually finished it .
I forgot about some of the characters tho like the old ladies I have no idea who they are .
I also forgot that Eric already knows Gertrude, I thought they become friends in the book for some reason .
I hope I can finish this book this time .
