Beverly Hills, 90210 meets Goodnight Kiss by R.L. Stine is a fangtastic elevator pitch, but Bloodlust rarely capitalises on either side of that equation.

The first half of the book gets off to a strong start, while the second half suffers from pacing issues and a romance that’s as shallow as a kiddie pool. Still, with this being a two-parter, here’s hoping Initiation sinks its teeth into those shortcomings.
