the hard part of following. seven whole characters in a very plot influenced story (at least so far) is that none of them get any development whatsoever and it’s hard to care what happens to them. but well how how/if that changes once the Angel Invasion ends

Im an early reader and it’s pretty good so far! I was very confused at the floating island at first, but everyone’s always confused at the start of a fantasy story where you’re getting all the information.
My favorite is probably Alf because I can’t quite get a read on him and that’s fun LMAO

so far: rangers who are able to “weave” things (magic system it seems) on magic birds act as the military of their floating-island nation, and so far they’ve mobilized to investigate another floating island that seems to hold unknown life forms
