the hard part of following. seven whole characters in a very plot influenced story (at least so far) is that none of them get any development whatsoever and it’s hard to care what happens to them. but well how how/if that changes once the Angel Invasion ends

aghg this might be what need to fix my reading slump im so excited to get through this

so far: rangers who are able to “weave” things (magic system it seems) on magic birds act as the military of their floating-island nation, and so far they’ve mobilized to investigate another floating island that seems to hold unknown life forms
