Status Updates From Heavensent & Hellbent

This author just used the phrase "unalived themselves." Am I the only one who really doesn't like when internet speak is used in the actual meat of the book? This wasn't spoken or texted, this was just the character thinking. If this were a book about an influencer or told in the form of texts/comments/internet stuff, okay. But this book about life and death and angels and demons? It took me right out.

Hmmm. This isn't bad, but I think it is for a younger YA audience. It's very repetitive sometimes and the sentences are very short.

Disappointing because I really want the mythology but can't stand Roxana sooo deciding to move on.
