Chapter 1 speaks about the epic of Kerbala; however the manner in which the author speaks of it indicates the lack of actual knowledge of both Iran and Islam, specifically the Shia school. The epic of Ashura, the murder of Imam Husayn with his family and companions was a purely temporal and sectarian issue; since it definately wasn't and was about preventing Islam from being corrupted and turned into a monarchy.
