So far this is just a generic enemies-to-lovers that definitely needed more editing. Thereʼs probably no saving the lackluster world-building or shallow character work but hereʼs hoping the new publisher will at least attempt to give it a polish before the trad release.

I hate that romantasies of the past have bred an ick of overconfident FMC’s. But also don’t tell me you’re dangerous, just show me. Also, it’s very rare that we start with an MMC pov but one that immediately lets us know he’s not a total bad guy.. it makes her thinking he’s an asshole fall a bit flat because we the audience know it’s not totally true so early on. I’m curious to see where it goes…
