#7 better? two women who have a daughter are the main focus so thats gr8 but thats also it. it deals with grief and moving on from loss i can see the importance of it and what it was trying to do but with the rest of the book it was underwhelming

#6 finally one i liked! creepy and managed to have an actual ending that didnt leave me wanting so much more. do i have questions? sure but theyre normal "end of story " questions and not "this is unfinished " questions

#5 while i like the idea of easily being able to change your appeared gender (provided you have the money maybe? unclear) the second i got interested this story was over and it was the shortest one yet so i was actually hoping it had something of a plot....

story 2: again no real conclusion and im left unsatisfied. short stories still need a climax and conclusion otherwise theyre just unsatisfying snippets. i also dont see how these are fairytales??

i forgot why i never read short stories as soon as i get invested in and figure out whats happening with the plot, its over and im left thinking "what thats it?" we'll see what else this collection has to offer so far story 1 is 👎

Just finished reading the first story. Not bad. I am liking this author's writing style. He uses quite simple English and is always focussed on the main character and how he's perceiving the world around him. If I like any other short story by him then I'll pick up his novel too.
