Through life's woundings, we have either deepened our ability to use our emotional and spiritual roots, or we have attended to squash our capacity to live fully from our hearts. In an attempt to prevent new wounds, we learn to defend with survival methods. while these methods work, they also block Old Wounds from healing.

Feeling our feelings allows us to "keep heart" in the struggle of living fully, loving deeply, and leading well a life worth living for ourselves and with others
