Status Updates From The Fundamentals of Interio...

Functionality:

1) Needs to keep in a large dog
2) Location is rural ~ a typical 6 ft privacy wooden fence wouldn't be appropriate.
3) They want to keep out people as well. So this can't be one of those pretty wooden picket fences that are relatively low to the ground. They're willing to spend more to make sure the fence is durable.

I need to look up durable materials that fit this criteria.

someone has asked me to help them with fencing. I have no qualifications, will be spending someone else's money. I'm excited to get to help with this, but I need ideas.

I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't paint my kitchen cabinets black no matter how good it looks in other people's homes.

I want to default to white, but I need to expand. All white walls + white cabinets is too much white.

OK I've been watching a lot of interior design videos with white walls and black kitchen cabinets/appliances even black fireplaces in the living room...they're popular.

They look sharp in the photos.

I'm terrified of painting my kitchen cabinets or fireplace black. Terrified.

I like this video - she gives good advice about doors (why didn't I think of that before) and her idea of a bonfire pit in the backyard is good.
