This book is cruising towards a 1* for me, but I feel completely the opposite of the majority of the top negative reviews - which are, of course, all about how much the FMC sucks because that's 90% of what romance readers complain about, forever and always.

…on a horse though 🙃 The logistics are confusing cause the horse is still moving??

These men are not friends 😬 I know what the author is trying to do but their “banter” is just mean. I have brothers and have seen male friendships, this isn’t it, it doesn’t feel light hearted and it’s rubbing me the wrong way. The MC has no one but his “friends”, a fiancé he doesn’t speak to because it’s an arrangement, and the people that work for him. He comes off as miserable

I am struggling a bit with the book. Several of the scenes are set up to be humorous. I am just not seeing it. Have the book on both audio and kindle.

This book is a lot longer than I thought
