Status Updates From Fit for Consumption: Storie...

So far only 2 of the 6 stories I’ve read so far have been somewhat good. 7 more stories to go to try and gain my favor, but I think I may shelve this book and maybe come back to try and finish it another time. It’s just not keeping my interest the way I thought it would.

This is such a fun collection of stories! Some of these are very coming of age mixed with some gruesome elements and I just got to the story with Plüschow which is a fun connection since I read Berman's other story with him in it!

Unwelcome Boys is a standout so far in this collection of short stories.
The small town fear of coming out and how it really effected the main character’s out look on the world came through very well

“The summer broken”
I liked the urban legend/queer spin on the typical college troupe. The formatting was a little different, but it added to the drunken crazy night feel of the story.
