Good, the book is slowing down now with galleries of various themes. It's been a good survey of colour theory, but there has been a great deal of pigment information pushed into one of the smallest fonts I've seen in a book. I'm getting an eye strain just thinking of it.

I know the book's all about colour, but giving it priority over line and drawing? With mention of the impressionists? Oh dear. Down to three stars.

Information overload.

Information overload. It's nice to see a colour wheel that uses as its base the printer's colours (cyan-magenta-yellow) rather than the usual blue-red-yellow.

That's already more useful information than in every other book on watercolours I know.
