That is exactly the trap Jonny has fallen into with Mark.

Lol what. Okay the humor in this book makes me wish this was a BR with Julio because this scene is like straight out of his arsenal of horny snark.

THIS. 1000% this. We do this to ourselves and wonder why relationships don't pan out right. But it's so hard giving up the fantasy. So very fucking hard.

Wanting to help people who aren't asking for help (but seriously need it) is one of those things that only hurts you in the end. A lesson only learned by getting burned.

One of those stories with strikingly realistic depictions of relationships, with the good, the bad and the ugly.

We haven't got inside Mark's head yet, but it's really sad how his "manic pixie" persona is all a front for how little control he has, of how lonely he's become. It's so hollow, and so painful to watch.

At this point I’m thinking this is going to be a five star for me. I have to work while desperately wanting to take off sick so I can wallow in all this unhealthy misery. I’ve said it time and time again, I like crazy. Pixie catnip…

That's what I want to know.

I have a question. Do guys really pine and obsess so stupidly for other people that obviously don't care for them like this? It's just so wrong. Everyone tells him he's being wrongheaded and he knows it too and yet he keeps on keeping on. I don't get it.

Can someone please hire me to fix typos in books? I catch them all, I swear. In fact, I'd probably do it for free.

At this point I am wishing I could slap the shit out of (or some sense into) Jonny.

Really liking this story

Dammit. I KNEW starting this at 1:30 am was a dumb idea. And now I'm hungry too.
Smh.

I'm done. This is NOT a romance, for sure, but I didn't expect one. It's critical that the reader understands this before starting this book. It's definitely worth your time, I think, because despite its bleakness, there's hope too. Yeah, it has some issues, and I'll elaborate on those in my review, but this was a ride worth taking. Full review to come.

Mark is toxic. And Jonny is - Yeah, I'm not sure yet what Jonny is.

So you knowingly pimped yourself out. Johnny this is sad. I can't wait to review this. I don't understand his self esteem.

I absolutely hate people getting used but Johnny this is as much your fault as it is Mark. You're enabling him is ridiculous and Mark is just a train wreck waiting to crash.

I don't know what to feel about these two. Mark clearly isn't functioning right now. Johnny is an enabler. This is a situation waiting to blow up in someone's face.
