Great start! Action, suspense, and I can definitely feel the sexual tension.

I enjoyed Carson and Leila's story. A great job infusing Arabic mythology into the the plot. That was unique. Will review shortly!

A sob bubbles up and escapes my lips. I clamp down on it, swallow it.  I must do this. I have no choice.

I love her whether she’s some weird tornado-woman or not.

It was as if some note in her voice struck a chord in my soul, and that note continues to reverberate every time I look at her.

He seems most comfortable talking about his work, and I can tell he wants me, but, for some reason, he doesn’t dare let himself think it. 

at least the ending kicked it up a notch.

So far Nadira, Jack and Shawn have been the best thing about this book.

It seemed like it was heating up but cooled down again. I'm a little bored and not connected to our hero and heroine.

The character development is lacking somewhat compared to the first book. I actually liked the cop better in the 1st book. Who woulda thought it.
