I get what that the Lrondi are not good (enslaving their hosts to do their will), but doesn't the sound SUPER familiar with the Trill (at the beginning).
No one wants to be enslaved to another species, but IF there was a commonality that could be brokered...would it be more similar to the Trill?
Interesting dilemma.

We find some of the crew members that we've seen before from the Vanguard series...here in THIS story, on another ship, and trouble just seems to follow them around.
Unprovoked, a foreign/unknown ship approaches the planet, causes power drains to the Starfleet ship in orbit, THEN fires upon the colony. Not good.
What are our protagonists going to do?
