Status Updates From Fallout

Damn, this world is hella screwed up...

Oh shit. I don't know if I'm gonna make it through this one; it's my actual personal worst nightmare...the only way it could be worse if it the bikers were clowns.

The thing is, with the choice between another 150 pages of survival of the fittest with the occasional rape and death thrown in OR a snarky matchmaker Captain America fan fic, I'll choose the latter for now.

I managed to start this without realizing I sion have to deal with the end of the world as we know. And no, the cover wasn't a dead giveaway. I still thought I'm in romance land. Which is kind of a perfect, if you think of it, because the story caught me as unaware ad the MCs.

I'm struggling with this.......it's just not capturing my attention :(

Yup, this made me realize it must be official now: horror is no longer a genre I enjoy lol. But if you do? Holy fuckinoly is this a book for you.

This is a horror movie and that's all there is to it, and I like a good horror story. However, it's taken over from the characters, at least for me. So, I guess I would call this horror for horror's sake.

He was terrified that one day he’d wake up and realize he hated Bas. What if that day had already come and he just couldn’t see it yet.

omg, this book is crazy :)

I normally LOVE Lisa Henry, but I'm having a really hard time trying to get into this one. I think maybe I'm just not in the mood for this type of story. Maybe if I come back to it later? So many glowing reviews, it has to just be me....
