Status Updates From Scorpions

The social aversion that Middleton describes is so painfully (yet strangely comfortingly?) familiar despite stemming from different arguably irrational fears.

I've been meaning to pick Middleton's memoir up since being drawn to it at Hay Fest last year. Having read the first chapter already, I can tell this is going to be an enlightening read on what Middleton rightly describes it as a misunderstood and trivialised illness. That being said, I am being mindful of the opening Author's Note so may end up taking my time with this one despite its short length.
