Finished A Modest Proposal and wow it’s pretty messed up. I found this from THT and can definitely see where Atwood got inspiration from this satire with how outrageous the proposal is but the way it’s justified so calmly and almost as if it’s an obvious solution. “I fortunately fell upon this proposal”
