Apparently this is the story where Jane meets Nell from her spin-off Soulwood series (which I also like a lot). I love it when you're up to date on a series but know that you've missed some of the shorts here and there, and then you read one and it puts some puzzle pieces from the series together. It's a consolation counter-balance to being in the main series and feeling like you've missed something.

Doing a reread of this before reading the Jane Yellowrock spinoff series (Blood of the Earth is book #1) that has Nell as the heroine.
