a cara bastone ARC was literally all i needed to get out of my dreadful reading slump. life is indeed worth living

The setup has felt a little too contrived. I still enjoy Cara Bastone's writing - but the set up is a bit too unrealistic / too conveniently inconvenient. There's a lot of things that happen in the setup that are not quite grounded in believability, for me.
