Umm when exactly does Elise get into trouble at the drop of a hat? And how exactly is she suddenly madly in love in the span of a couple days? This is just pure stupidity

This whole thing of Keith suddenly being the villain is utter crap. He only met her once when she was twelve and not only that she had several other men to choose from, so why is he suddenly desperate for her and not the other two females?

How do you have the expectation that we know how this hatchling crap works or what a Dendalan is? Not to mention all the other crap in this world that is not explained or the million and one characters we never get to know, so we never understand who is who and what's going on.

I just don't even get how a book can be so bad. Didn't anyone read this before it was published?

Are we in year 2030 or in the Middle Ages? This is reading like a historical novel yet is dystopian/ futuristic set in 2030.

Im already so confused. Found this on bookbub and got it on kindle unlimited but under Jane Rowe? Not to mention the category of book it was or the impression I got is different from what on goodreads. Oh well, it won't kill me to read it...I hope.

I loved this book. Kept me interested the whole time.
