Wow, Roadside Picnic is really good so far! I'm really enjoying this one. I wonder if it's the first of its kind. It's like "Light", but clearer and more focused, and "Annihilation", but way more human and real and dangerous. Chapter 1 could be a book all on it's own. I can't wait to see where this is going. Right now, the movie seems extremely different from the book. As usual, the book has been better, IMO.

Finished Hard To Be A God. It's right up my alley. Weird feudal Rusian sci-fi. Might go back and re-read the second-to last chapter. It gets into some heavy stuff, philosophically. Can't wait to see the movie!
