Status Updates From Jalon (Van Doren #5)

I'd be lying if I said that so far I'm honestly just disappointed.. Jalon's character reads like any other "20 something" year old when he's with Levis. The sexual verbiage used and the way he's just started making out with him in locker rooms and showing up at his bedroom at night? A man and his fifties referring to his partners "junk" and not having a conversation other than this is not a one-night stand? Ugh.

This book while part of a series, heavily relies on information from the other books, I feel.
Like a lot.
Also I'm not really a fan of the time jumps DURING the development of the relationship. First Kiss, done and then it's the next day. First orgasm of Levis with Jalon? Skipped.
It's a LOT of Tell and not Show.
Dunno. Don't like it... Kind of pausing this I guess.
