I’m enjoying the story so far, but I am itching to edit it. There are extra words in sentences, punctuation in incorrect places, sentences that start in the wrong places, and even occasions when one person’s dialogue is in the same short paragraph as another person’s dialogue. It needs to be heavily edited. Heavily. But the story is good enough to keep me reading... So far...

I do hope that this novel doesn't end up with the heroine having a shroedinger's father baby. There's a romance comic that ended like that and I was so mad about it.

Actually I just finished "Alana". I really liked it. I was swept away with Monica Barrie's post civil war story of greed, love and revenge. I fell in love with the heroines and hero. I couldn't go to sleep until I finished this book!
