Status Updates From Sacred Medicine Book One

Cassie decides to try and get over her deceased hubby and continue seeing Jed who she had a fling at a convention they were both at, but Cassie still keeps feeling guilty about it. Jed is hiding something and acts irritated and refuses to talk to Cassie when she asks him about what's going on.... Is he married??? What???

The writing is still not great... Cassie the leading female character has a case of PTSD after losing her beloved hubby after he died in a car crash.... But 3 years after the fact she is still traumatized by her beloved hubby's death is seeing a psychiatrist for it and taking meds and consuming too much alcohol over her hubby's death. She doesn't want to start dating someone else. But has a fling she regrets.

Bad sex scenes so far that seem off and not very sexy/romantic. Flat writing with details that are what I'd think a reader would want to read... Not sure If I'll be continuing with this novella or not.

The man on the cover of this book is the best looking man I have ever seen. EVER
