I wanted a deep and psychological story about corruption, psychopaths and survival but so far this books seems a bit 2D and the plot feels rushed.

At 17% in to this book and only a few days after being abducted, the MC-h claims to have Stockholm Syndrome.. I think that, that term is used too loosely in novels. There's no way you can have that after only a few days. Self preservation can kick in of course, but not Stockholm Syndrome.
