Status Updates From Strange Bedfellows

Classic misunderstanding miscommunication time. How do couples couple with all this not really talking stuff?

This is...not great. I am listeningto the audio and I think e is doing the best he can with the story he was given. The characters are off, for me. The dialogue is not adult enough and the inuendos are sad. The book blurb was so good - a political thriller this is not. Will keep listening.

Surprisingly (or not) I didn’t dnfed it and I’m enjoying a lot. I finally did connect to the characters, I liked how they were exclusive from the beginning, Trevor’s jealous, how communicated and told their feelings for each other after they realized they’re in love , they wasn’t drama or stupid freak out intense monologue and Ford won’t hide his relationship with Trevor. Cardeno is really a hit for me

Okay every time one month passes before they see each other again. It’s ridiculous and frustrating. I don’t even know if they slept with other people between their hook ups (I don’t like this word) I’m really getting annoyed as fuck !! I didn’t connect with the MCs that much.
Oh and too much politics. Boring and uninteresting.

Too muuuuuch sex and too many orgasms in one night to enjoy the whole sex and it got boring and it’s too long it lasted for 3 long chapters, 40 pages for fuck’s sake !!!
I’m not sure I’m gonna keep reading it but I know skip to only read Trevor and Ford scenes to see if their relationship is really interesting and worth reading the story. Sonégiens I don’t understand all he the high stars.

It’s not my usual read, I don’t do the hook up to lovers trope and since Cardeno is the author for after reading one of his books even though I had some trouble to find a good that will work for me but according to the reviews and spoilers I’m giving it a shot. Let’s hope I won’t regret it.

Unsure how I feel about this one lads... Still going to keep reading tho
