Trying very hard to continue. Interesting, but not as riveting as its predecessor. Or maybe the main hero is just not as interesting to me? I'll keep trying, I'm fairly sure this one is going to capture my attention again once I set to it.

Hmmm. Not sure I like where the narrative takes me and how it does..

Wonderful storytelling...hitting all the right notes for me -historically, romantically, all-around. The one drawback - I stayed up way past my bedtime to read it.
