Sometimes when I'm not liking a book, I go and read all the reviews to see if it gets better. Apparently, it doesn't. Truly dreadful writing. Good first draft, but needed someone to push them for consistency, saving things for later, depth. It reads like a nanowrimo novel, "what happens next" instead of a unified whole. DNF at 29%
