Status Updates From Behind Five Willows

books like this make me wish I had a sister 🤪 the conversation between them in chapter 7 was so sweet. I love how Haewon and Yeonhee are fighting for the same kind of freedom but they go about them so differently! and poor Jade. there is so much pressure on her I hope she gets a happy ending 😭

while thinking about the blurb i'd read before starting this book, i finally realized why it felt so familiar- IT'S A PRIDE AND PREJUDICE RETELLING :O no wonder it's a homage to jane austen smh!
