The best book I've read about knitting socks thus far.

Chapter 1: Awesome charts for sizing, although I'm always wary to go by shoe size than by actual measurements... I can wear a range of shoe sizes, but I only have one foot measurement! I really like the break down of how the ratios/percentages of stitches and the fact that Kate tells you where on the foot to measure.; "foot circumference" is always outrageously broad!

Although the book is very informative, it is definitely not for the newcomer. I have never knitted a sock in my life, I do get the basic idea of the book. I probably will not finish the book.
