Status Updates From Mad About the Hatter

I hate when characters go on like.. internal monologues about their feelings. It's always so shallow. Just "i'm falling in love with so and so, their eyes are beautiful, I want to kiss their lovely full lips, I can't live without them".. don't TELL me you're attracted to/in love with them. SHOW me.

“Men don’t often like to admit they’ve been abused, do they? What I’ve come to understand is there’s no disgrace in saying it." What's with the sudden therapy speak.. so annoying when books do this. Like. That's not the vibe of anything else that's been going on. And it comes across as so unnatural.

They keep saying wonderland is wonderful--there are some dangerous areas, but the rest makes it worth saving. Where are the good parts?? We've only seen shitty dangerous stuff!

The Hatter isn't nearly mad enough. Just saying.

Why is the hatter even trying to take Henry to the red Queen? Couldn't he just.. disappear? He ain't being chaperoned

So, one thing I fear with the Hatter being a main character is that we'll see too much of him and he won't seem.. well. Mad. We'll see.
