Última parada de la no planificada triada de cuentos de Wilde que me mandé casi sin querer queriendo y que ha sido, hasta ahora, una buena e inesperada experiencia en cuanto a mis expectativa, para ir ya cerrando un buenísimo año lector.

Esperemos a ver qué nos depara el último relato breve de este connotado autor.

This young man who started as a despicable creature finished by embodying the kindness of soul and the strength of character that only a real human can have. It's by far my favorite story in the whole book

"We passed resolutions condemning everything we disliked"

I find this aspect of democracy frustrating. It often allows people to act impulsively, prioritizing their immediate emotions over thoughtful consideration of long-term consequences. It's disheartening when resolutions are passed based on fleeting feelings rather than rational thinking.

Reading the words of the rocket is an effective humbling session, as it exposes the self centeredness of humanity

Someone would ask oneself if he ever loved her before.
At the end the only pure love in this short story was the one of the nightingale

I don't even have the words lol. I wonder how the student would have reacted if he knew that the rose he throw was an actual heart. Poor nightingale.
