Status Updates From I'm Not Her

This was like a “freaky Friday” body switch story. A freak accident at the grocery check out line has Carin, a wealthy spoiled woman who seems to have everything going for her, change bodies with Leeann, the overweight cashier. The main character grows a lot through the story. The only thing I didn’t like was the awful stereotyping of Leeann, who seemed to have no redeeming qualities. Overall, a cute story

Love this book - wonderfully written

I am really enjoying this story. I'm glad that most of it is about Carin, I enjoy seeing how she lives up to the challenges of being in a 376 pound body. I think Leann's character is a bit too exaggerated. I get that she's uneducated, but anyone with more than a 5th grade education could at least speak better than she does. The overuse of her slang is distracting, but the book has really sucked me in!
