Enthralling, but i was jilted by the measly Kindle store sampler. Want moar now! But it'll have to wait :(

I'm half way through now and I still find these characters bland bland bland. All they talk about is the case and Farin's love life. Farin's not even a main character it's mentioned like every couple of chapters but she has more personality than anyone else.

hmmm, so i like this book but I'm not wow'd. I think the characters are a bit bland. Also the don't go into detail about the characters species, I'm assuming Lexsi is a demon? I have no idea.

I'll read anything Connie Suttle writes. She has consistently never failed to entertain me. This book is no exception. I would recommend you start at the beginning of her work with Blood Wager and go from there.

Suttle really needs to learn when to use were vs. was. That and the occasional misuse of whom are making me cranky.
