I don't think he is out to tow hannah's feelings on a line, but he has twice used her to attract alex (coffee girl aka miss perfect... but actually a nice person).

Wasn't sure what to expect from this one after reading 'a duchess in name'.
Its a sweet NA story, where Hannah is a freshman and Ben is a senior. He is introducing her to a love a books. The books are mostly ones I've read or now want to read. Not obvious english lit choices. They are mutually attracted but he has been lusting after the 'ideal' girl at the coffee shop across the street.

Did not like this book. Hero spent first third of book leading our girl on when he was interested in another girl. Then when they did end up together, it wasn't romantic at all. I think he still lied, if the other girl hadn't told him straight out she wasn't interested, he would never have gone for our girl. He's so weak throughout most of the book. And a book snob. 2.5 - he did finally stand up to his dad in the end
