Status Updates From Nightwalk

I had to stop reading and comment because this book is giving me a real "middle-aged divorced boomer vibe". The storyline is getting completely lost in the inane and sometimes awful internal banter of the protagonist. Like I probably could have felt more afraid of the gunfire and explosion but instead I'm stuck listening to the internal dialogue of Mark, which really detracts from any emotion about the situation.

What a great author and book. I'd come up against a winner this week! Murf

I hope Ed doesn't die. I hope the three of them can make it out alive and they get answers. This is a nightmare what is going on?

This book is crazy

This book is weird, although I want to quit this book and go on to something else, I also want answers. Where is Casey's mom? Is she ok if she is still alive? Are there any other survivers? Also I feel like I'm reading about the movie The Mist.

Only a short way in and already thrilled. The writing is powerful and creepy.
