‘You’re a bad boy!’

Unmistakable.

He did the best he could to roll on one side, and look up over his shoulder. The female halfling stood on the bed, legs astride him, coiling her whip. He stared up at the black leather head-mask, seeing only an impersonal pair of eyes.

Bad boy.

The voice is unmistakable.

He said, ‘Mother – is that you?’

She raised her arm above her head and whirled the small orc like a slingshot. Barashkukor ducked as its hands clipped his helmet. At the point of maximum velocity she let go, and the orc shot away in a low arc. A diminishing wail followed it down... A puff of dust showed where the small orc first struck the steep slope, then another, then three more like a stone skipping across water.

The writing is weird, it lacks rhyme or reason. Things happen with no connective tissue or even clear timelines.
The base idea is somewhat intriguing though.
The extra spicy halflings are funny too.
