George is extremely mature for a 25 year old. And he's absolutely right, just because you have strong feelings for someone doesn't mean you go rushing head first into commitment. I certainly wasted 10 years of my life that way

Being in your mid 20s is stressful as hell

This man is really more afraid of being embarrassed than being kidnapped 😂😂😂😂 oh to be in the mind of an anxious person

My favorite part of this book is definitely Jefferson as a humorous narrator. Least favorite part, unfortunately, is the mysterious yet not very compelling George, and the unnecessary vagueness with which Jefferson has so far explained their past argument/falling out.

I have not finished yet but I am surprised at the low rating. I think the book is pretty cute and I love childhood friends turn lovers and all the self exploration. This book feels a bit like Chinese and Japanese BL to me, not the typical Josh Lanyon style, which is cool in a way as the author is not stuck in one single style.
