Status Updates From Lightning / The Face of Fea...

If I were to rate these by book. I would give Lightning a 4 and The Face of Fear a 5. Lightning was fascinating though at times threw me when I was listening to it. (I am doing both audio and book sometimes simultaneously, I like it.) Face of Fear I think did a lot better in that regard.

My conflict resolution happens in a very dark way when the murderer gets killed himself. "The drill startled Bollinger. He jumped, put a foot on ice, pitched forward, stumbled off the curb, skidded with peculiar grace in the snow, and sprawled facedown in the gutter. The driver of the grader had expected his quarry to run away; instead, Bollinger fell toward the machine, into it.
