I mainly read The Dauphin and Waiting On The Chinese over and over again

Ok so maybe one of the best New York books I’ve ever read.

The title of the story is Ibid. each sentence has a footnote. Reading the footnotes was a lot of fun. I am thinking the reading the story will not be as much fun. It seems like an incredibly time-consuming effort to make a potentially elusive point.

When I read a book of short stories I always know that I am not going to like all of them. But not liking the first one or even understanding it is a tough beginning.
