OMG I can’t put it down. Dampier has missed the opportunity to discover more places due to the lack of fresh water. Repairs to his ship, The Roebuck, has almost ended everyone’s life and all would have been lost at sea had they not gone to Timor before the monsoon.

What a change! I was having great difficulty reading the beginning only to have a complete change of heart from I last posted. Mundle has created a complete maritime adventure of life out at sea, piracy, and historical accounts of discovery, death, wars and destruction, all mixed in with exploration and escapades, sometimes too real but sometimes, just fun. Finding it hard to put it down.
