146-176 25 min. Lisa wasn't very good in P.E. Unlike many people, she doesn't accept defeat. She found an alternative to the solution and that is to put her knowledge into use. For example, she used physics to climb a rope, and she used history to play ring hockey. In result, she is awarded the Sweaty Award for the most growth in her class. This shows that there are many ways to find a solution.

121-146 The polar bears in Springfield dislikes being in the TV commercial because they have to be splashed with soda. The reason why they caused chaos in town is because they want to stay together in a family and not be in the TV show. Therefore, the commercial company should've considered the polar bears' consequence since in the parade, they weren't careful guraded.

105-121 15 min In the city of Springfield, because Homer is fat doesn't mean he can't ride on the same plane with not-so-fat people. He tried really hard to find a flight to the Carribean, so he decided to start a protest about fat people discrimination. This can be related to the real world where people discriminate others because of their race and beliefs.

88-105 15 min I think the theme for The Duffman Corps is the underdog can sometimes be the hero. Kyle was chosen to be the Duff Man, but his partying isn't good like others. The captain told him that he is a failure after the test. However, when Vinstro opened the jazz music and cut down the partying, Kyle saved the day by starting the party back again despite the boring jazz environment.

62-88 15 min When Szyslak stole the secret recipe, he knew he will get a lot of money to save his business, but he didn't think about the owner of the sauce which is Krusty. Therefore, Krusty's business is still doing poorly. On the other hand, Krusty did something illegal and that was to not follow the FDA regulations. That would've gotten them in serious trouble.

35-62 15 min In the part where the Simpsons went to the beach. The conflict was Mr. Barnes bought the beach and made it his own. Therefore, nobody except him is allowed to even step foot on the sand. This problem is solved by Mr. Barnes didn't follow his helper's advice to put on sunscreen. In result of that, his arms were burned badly and the Simpsons saved him just in time. At the end, everyone can go to the beach.

22-35 10 min. A connection I have is a book to self. When I didn't go somewhere, I usually regretted it because I felt like I missed something important. This is like when the police abolished the bear patrol, and the whole was bear-infested, the police regretted the decision and the bear patrol is back to work.

I read Donut Disturb (first story) in the book. I think the theme for this story is sometimes hard work doesn't beat luck. Lisa worked really hard on her essay, but Homer just interviewed Homer one question and he won. This is relatable to the real world since some people were born geniuses and didn't have to work as hard to achieve their goal while others worked really hard but couldn't achieve their goal.
