So engaging ,the characters and their struggle are very close to my life ,my first Vonnie Davis and certainly won't be my last

Such a wonderful read so far!

I'm not digging this book. So many things just aren't working for me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not much of a contemporary read or because this is my first time reading about a solder dealing w/ PTSD & other things.

I'm not big on contemporary reads. This is a little slow going and hits a little to soon for me on the war in Afghanistan. Not sure if I'm ready to have this war in my books I read.
