The idea and the sees of the characters are so fascinating, but the plot, what there is of it, just keeps rambling in every direction! I also don’t understand the point of some scenes at all.

He thinks she wrote Sense and Sensibliity! Some passages are definitely laugh out loud!

A very different type of regency romance from what I am used to reading.

I've seen some say this is unrealistic - yes, it definitely is, none of this would have happened and it was definitely not common back then and spoken of as in this book - but since this is fiction, the author is clearly reimagining the times, much as fanfic writers do, so I'm not seeing how something made up for fictions sake could be an issue at all. That's just puzzling.

Egads, but this is so true. I say the same thing:
"She loathed hunting for lost objects. One could knock oneself out tearing rooms apart, only to have the drafted thing turn up in a logical place when one wasn't looking. Better to wait and let it come to light when it would."

"The Little man in the rowboat" - *giggles* Still finding this book funny and so unusual. The ratings are so average though. I'm not sure how this storyline can justify such a large page count.

This book is so unusual so far - but some funny areas.
