I'm officially done with trying to figure the logic of this out. if she's thinking like a wolf why would she tackle the guy with food, then not go to eat the food!?!?!!
giving this prequel 3 stars because I can't understand certain bits and if I had to read anything longer than this I'd be so pissed by the end. it's not bad of you ignore the description of some things but I not ready anymore of this series

okay so they have her but is one guard just running with her and he's trapped in her human arms or is she still wolf hauling her prey off in her teeth? this is a grown muscled man being toted by the neck* in her mouth?! so confused!! and is he swinging this ax that just appeared, is it someone else with an axe? I get that someone else shot the arrows but this axe has me confused.

so far I'm not loving this writing.

this book is short but good :)
