Too technical and lacking a central thesis for an audiobook. I might pick it up again in print

I fell asleep twice in chapter three. I had to switch from accessibility software to an audiobook with a human narrator because JAWS and Cobra were too choppy with the numbers. I feel like this book would be better if I had more understanding of historical econ and the methodologies. There are some thought provoking ideas but so far it's heavy on speculation.
