I had read Dear Mr Knightley 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. I decided to read it again with this collection.
I felt connected with Sam in the way she hid in her books. I suppose lots of book lovers tend to do this. I had forgotten how the book wrapped up and loved it again.

Dear mr Knightley krijgt extra diepgang nu ik Daddy-Long-Legs heb gelezen. Sam's naïviteit (goed vergelijkbaar ook met Catherine in Northanger Abbey) geeft een interessante blik op de wereld. Sam miste wel wat van de humor die Judy liet zien in DLL, haar verhaal was rauwer. Ik heb genoten van alle verwijzingen naar klassiekers!
