Status Updates From John Maynard Keynes

Had to re-read the entire chapter. This was the theory of investment, and it was extremely challenging to work through. I even had to draw stuff out on a white board. I figured it out eventually, and it was extremely rewarding.

I love this book. This proves that Keynes was a bad writer. Minsky definitely stays within the spirit and content of Keynes, but explains in a much clearer way with many graphics to aid the reader. Not to say its easy to read, its extremely difficult, but this rewards careful study unlike Keynes's own exposition.

This is an incredible book so far. Really great clarifications on the obscurities within the general theory. He compares it to the standard macro models which really helps to explain how Keynes's views were radical.
